Some answers to FAQs

1. Is it possible to mail a package to us? It is, but it is costly and takes a good deal of time. For example, 10 lbs costs $60 USD to ship via the post. We don't need anything at this time (not to mention we do not know our address).
2. How long did it take for the other American couples to get a court date? The last two American couples went to court 13 days after their bonding period end (the bonding period lasts 15 days).
3. When do we get to come home? After court, there is a 15-day appeals period where a family member may come back and contest the adoption. After the appeals period, there is a 1 to 2 week period where the last of the paperwork is completed (e.g. Erlan's passport, HIV test, etc...)
4. When does Erlan get to come home with us? After the 15-day appeals period. (The appeals period will not be waived.)
